School's out for summer. Hip Hip Hooray! We've had such a wonderful school year and have enjoyed getting to know all the preschool families and you, our church family. The Preschool staff and I have learned a few things along the way. We've laughed a lot, loved BIG and learned some more. Having truly been blessed by each of you and all the support our church family gives us. Pastor Howard, Mrs. Amy, Mr. George, The Trustees Committee, Mrs. Pat, Ms. Janice, Mr. Mike Powell, Mrs. Alison Ackerman, Our Preschool Committee, (Mrs. Nancy, Mrs. Gail, Mrs. Sarah, Mrs. Carter), and so many more of you have loved us abundantly throughout the year. Your donating of school items, scholarship funds, food, flexibility ibn sharing the church space, positive encouragement and prayers have not gone unnoticed.
Thank you also to the wonderful teachers! This Preschool Program wouldn't be what it is without them. We have an amazing group of ladies nd gentleman, and I am beyond blessed to call them all friends. Their love for each other, for this program, and for the students they teach shines brighter than anyone could imagine. There are no words to express my sincere thanks to each of them. It's been a memorable year, that's for sure. School lockdowns, power outages, Unexpected growth, and tornado's.... oh my! I'm praying we leave them here in the 2022-2023 school year.
Most days it feels like the school year has just started, and others it felt like a little like summer was never going to get here. I am so honored and thankful to be a part of this Preschool Program and I pray that God uses this program to reach our community in a way that glorifies him. Thank you all, Elkin First United Methodist Church Family for this great year! Please keep praying for our students, families, and staff. We are excited and already looking ahead to the 2023-2024 school year coming up.
